					<description>Yes, jp, seeing others in pain is an awful thing to witness and experience. The temptation for all of us is to try and move God out of the equation and to believe that pain and suffering is something out of his control. But to do that is to create a new God that is different to the true God revealed in the Bible. 

It doesn't make it easier to experience, but it does mean that we can pray with confidence to the one who is in control of both pain and pleasure in every aspect of his creation.</description>

					<description>It is hard to believe that God is working through our pain and suffering, but sometimes I can see it in my life.  But in other people's lives sometimes the pain seems too much. The pain of seeing pain happen to other people...he must be working through that too.</description>
