To relax, I love to lose myself in a heavy theological book, sustained by strong coffee in a Newtown café. I love mucking around with my kids. I love chatting with Mandy about anything and everything. I love playing and listening to music, watching movies that make me think, photographing interesting subjects and tinkering with technology.

My role at Anglican Youthworks is Director of Camping.

I also speak and write on youth and music ministry in various off-line and on-line publication such as The Briefing and sydneyanglicans.net, where I am a regular columnist.

In addition, I am an organiser of the TWIST Music Conference, an annual music training event for church musicians. I am an MC of the conference, and coordinate the main sessions. I also conduct the ‘Music and Youth Ministry’ and ‘Rethinking Church Gatherings’ training workshops.

My family and I attend Sylvania Anglican Church, where I am the Honorary Assistant Minister. This ‘volunteer’ position involves leading the music on most weeks at our Sunday morning 10am service, plus regular preaching and leading.
